Guild of Lillians was formed in 2004 by a group of theatre professionals (writers, actors, directors) on Tyneside in response to a perceived lack of work with an interest in women’s stories.

We place female characters centre stage; and our work is characterised by collaboration and a desire to involve community performers in our productions.
